Using PingStep

You may use PingStep to receive status signals from jobs you are authorized to monitor. Keep job names and event data non-sensitive. Do not send credentials, raw logs, personal data, customer records, or restricted data.

Your responsibility

You control the scripts, tokens, and systems that send updates. Protect job and viewer tokens like passwords. Do not rely on PingStep as the only safeguard for a critical process; maintain your own operational controls and backups.

Service availability

PingStep is provided as available. We may change, pause, or discontinue the service. Status information reflects events received by PingStep and may be delayed or unavailable during an outage.
