PingStep

Privacy

Last updated: August 2, 2026

PingStep monitors the progress signals that a connected script deliberately sends. It is designed not to collect raw logs, command output, payloads, credentials, or customer data.

Information PingStep stores

PingStep stores your authenticated email address, the social-login provider and provider identifier, session data, job keys, run IDs, lifecycle events, timestamps, named stages, optional safe messages, and the hashes of job and viewer tokens.

How information is used

We use this information only to authenticate you, associate jobs with your workspace, display run progress, identify stale or late runs, and deliver an alert when you configure an alert destination.

Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in, PingStep receives only the identity information needed to authenticate you: your Google account identifier, verified email address, and basic profile scope. PingStep does not access Gmail, Drive, contacts, or any other Google data.

Sharing and retention

PingStep does not sell personal information. A private viewer token lets its holder view only the associated job. Alert destinations receive only the alert metadata you configure. You may request deletion of your workspace data by contacting the address below.
